I’m a therapist for teens, adults, parents, and couples.
I have significant clinical experience supporting teens, young adults, adults, and couples as they navigate challenging mental health and relationship issues. I have a strong background in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship and communication issues. I encourage my clients to explore how their pasts affect their current functioning while working to improve and strengthen close relationships in their lives. I enjoy helping couples improve their communication and connection, while providing useful tools for working through common conflicts and stressors.
I also have a specialty in working with teens, both within private practice and school settings. I understand the unique difficulties in navigating developmental changes, school issues, intense teen emotions, and peer relationships. As a parent myself, I also understand the stress of the teen years on the family system and how critical open communication and empathy are during these years of evolving family dynamics. I am skilled in providing parenting and co-parenting support, focusing on strategies to improve communication, lessen conflict, and promote peace in the entire family unit.
Through our work together, I believe you will feel empowered, connected, and challenged. I commend you on taking the first step towards positive growth and change, and I look forward to sharing that journey with you!
