I utilize evidence-based techniques, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and family systems therapy, to create a nurturing and supportive space for children to explore their feelings, thoughts, and concerns. I collaborate closely with parents and guardians, recognizing the importance of involving the family system in the therapeutic journey. In my work, I not only help children cope with immediate challenges, but also equip them with essential skills for long-term emotional resilience and personal growth. I empower my clients to become more self-aware, develop effective communication skills, and build healthy coping mechanisms that extend beyond the therapy session and into their everyday lives.
Having worked directly within schools, I am intimately familiar with the challenges and pressures that students face, as well as the various dynamics that can affect their emotional and psychological development. My time as a school counselor has honed my ability to identify and address a wide range of challenges that children encounter, and I am deeply committed to helping families navigate the complexities of mental health support within the educational environment. I recognize the importance of collaboration between schools and families and strive to be an effective advocate and partner in the process.
