In my clinical practice, I work with adults and provide individual therapy.
Through my years in private practice, I have gained extensive experience working with individuals who are experiencing depression. I empower individuals to break out of repetitive negative cycles and tap into their natural resiliency in order to heal and create more meaningful lives. I also specialize in treating individuals who are seeking relief from anxiety. I enjoy helping clients develop skills to improve self-care, set healthy boundaries, and incorporate mindfulness to maximize their healing. I tend to utilize my training in couples and family therapy to help individuals explore their past and present patterns within relationships and recognize how these patterns impact healing. I also have a special interest in helping individuals navigate life transitions, including working with individuals who are preparing to become parents or adjusting to parenthood, as well as working with young adults around issues such as adapting to college, experiencing greater independence, starting a career, managing work/life balance, and navigating romantic relationships. Life transitions can generate highs and lows, and I offer individuals coping skills and resources to manage these times of change and feel greater stability. At a time when so many things can feel unfamiliar or unpredictable (yet at the same time monotonous), the consistency of a weekly therapy session with a dependable therapist can be greatly comforting and decrease feelings of isolation.
